2010 Annual Charity Horse Ride

THE DATE

The 27^th Chippenham Rotary Charity Horse Ride takes place on SUNDAY, 10^TH OCTOBER, starting at Spye Park between 10.00 a.m. and 12 noon.

THE ROUTE

This unique ride provides you with exclusive access through the Spye, Bowood and Whetham estates on a route which, at all other times, is closed to the public. Your route then climbs onto Roundway Down,  before descending Beacon Hill to the finish.

SPONSORSHIP  

The aim of the ride is to raise much-needed funds for charities which are supported by Rotary. This year, the three charities are:

The Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Riding For The Disabled and Friends of Chippenham Hospital

Your challenge will be to raise as much sponsorship as possible. The rider raising the most sponsorship wins a cash prize and the Peter Morris Trophy.

THE MORE MONEY YOU RAISE…THE MORE WE CAN GIVE THESE CAUSES.

 

AWARDS

All riders completing the course will be presented with a commemorative rosette.

A cash prize and trophy will be awarded to the “Best turned out rider and mount” in both the Under 16 and the 16 and Over age groups.

 

ENTRY FEES

Entry fees remain unchanged from last year, with a £5.00 discount for entries received by 30^th September.

 Riders Under 16 :-       £15.00 on the day. (£10 if received by 30th September)

           Riders 16 and over: -  £20.00 on the day.  (£15 if received by 30^th September)
